1970 Chevelle Malibu Restoration
This '70 Chevelle came to us with an overall nice "appearance". Step a
little closer - the paint had been done at a "major chain" paint shop and looked
amateur. The car also wore a set of Chevelle SS stripes that were incorrectly
applied. During paint removal, some steel wool was discovered in the rocker area,
and made it necessary to do some additional restoration work.
 |
The front end has been removed and about 50% of
the Chevelle's body is stripped. |
 |
Paint removal from the passenger side quarter. |
 |
The Chevelle's clip is now in primer. The
interior has been bagged for protection. |
 |
The body is completely primed and ready for seam
sealer. |
 |
The radiator support, inner fender wells and
cowl completely finished. |
 |
The door jamb areas are painted and the doors
are re-installed on the Chevelle. |
