1969 Camaro SS 396 Restoration
One of America's Greatest Muscle Cars, although you can't tell from the first shot
below. This basket case Camaro SS was hauled in for a restoration - ready to go.
This is actually a great way to save money when getting ready to restore your car.
The capable owner had carefully removed everything from the car, that we would have
spent hours doing, saving him the labor charges associated with disassembly. Just be
sure to "bag and tag" everything, to make sure the restoration goes smoothly,
when the time comes to put the car back together.
 |
The Camaro's floors and firewall have been
painted and covered. The bodywork is just beginning here. |
 |
The body work is completed on the rear clip and
is ready for block sanding. |
 |
Completely polished. Most of the trim is
installed. Ready to install the window moldings. The owner obviously prefers a
"custom" restoration, making popular changes to the appearance and performance
of his '69 Camaro. |
 |
The Camaro is about 95% trimmed out here and
awaiting the installation of the classic cowl induction hood. |
 |
The restoration is complete and in the owner's
driveway. This classic 1969 Camaro SS 396 muscle car is once again ready to give
it's owner years of enjoyment. |
