1970 Camaro Pro Street Project
 |
This Camaro was a clean appearing, car at the
start; but closer inspection revealed that the rear fender wells weren't attached properly
and would have caused some problems in due time. A great deal of body filler was
also found in the Camaro. |
 |
With the Camaro in the shop, we begin to
disassemble the car. |
 |
The rear quarters had been previously replaced
in about three sections and needed to be repaired by replacing the sheet metal with a new
single piece. Here, the old metal is removed. The new outer fender well has
been properly fitted and secured. |
 |
The quarter is welded in place and everything
now has a proper fit. |
 |
The Camaro has been prepped and primered. |
 |
The rear of the Camaro in primer. Note how
close the rear tires sit? Yep....it's been tubbed. |
